With everything we read in the news and all of the difficulties going on throughout the world, it is an absolute breath of fresh air for all of us educators to be with our wonderful students at Am Yisrael SJS.  They are thirsty for Jewish knowledge, positive Jewish experiences and friendships.  I feel blessed to be surrounded by so many teachers and madrichim who are passionate about creating this environment with me.  This coming week I can’t wait to lead Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Family services, join the “Tweens” with the Executive Board of our AMUSY group, participate in Tashlich and hear the shofar again and again.  In the meantime, we look forward to beginning our third week of SJS this Sunday, Sept. 21st.  Due to the holidays going directly into Shabbat next week, we will not have a regular Limmud E-Newsletter.  The schedule for Week #4 will be a regular Sunday, Sept. 28th and Wed.
