Some of our Upcoming Programs and/or Services:

Hebrew 101 for Adults: Please join members of the Am Yisrael community as we learn to read Hebrew.  We will meet weekly for this fun, easy, stress-free class.  This class is geared to both those who never learned to read Hebrew, and those who would like to brush up on their skills from the beginning.  Classes meet on Sundays from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., beginning this Sun, Oct 16.  (Class will only be held on Sundays when SJS is in session).  The instructor for this class is Mr. David Lerner, who has many years experience teaching adults Hebrew, with a special emphasis on “Prayer Book Hebrew.”  This class is offered free of charge for members of Am Yisrael Congregation, and their guests.  To register or for more information, please contact me at csherman@amyisrael.org or David at dlerner@amyisrael.org (but of course you may just walk in to the first class).
