We need your help. In order to make SJS on school days to operate more smoothly please follow these procedures:
1. If you student will be absent from school, please email or text Mr. Sherman to let him know: csherman@amyisrael.org or 847-708-1805
2. This is very important to ensure your students safety, please let us know if a family member or friend other than a parent will be picking up at the end of SJS.

Dear Am Yisrael Families,
Just a friendly reminder that Am Yisrael holds Shabbat Services every Friday evening and Shabbat morning. This Friday, April 25th, is one of our services specially geared towards families!
Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will conclude by 6:50 p.m.
A big thank you to those who have already signed up to participate. If your family would still like to participate and hasn’t yet, please email or text Mr. Sherman at csherman@amyisrael.org or 847-708-1805, and we’d be happy to include you.
We look forward to a wonderful Shabbat together!

AMUSY Elections process and timeline:
Candidate Information Forms: Please click here to access the Candidate Information Form. Please submit the completed form no later than Friday, April 25th.
Candidate Speeches: All candidate speeches will be pre-recorded and made available for viewing by Sunday, April 27th.
Elections: The elections will take place at SJS on Sunday, May 4th at 10:10 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Ballot Information: Voting will be anonymous. Parker Weber and Myra Feinberg will be responsible for counting the votes.

Family Shabbat Dinner
Friday, May 9
You’re invited to a delightful Shabbat dinner at Am Yisrael on May 9th immediately following our 6 p.m. Shabbat Services. Enjoy a delicious meal and the warmth of our community. Please RSVP via this link by Friday, May 2nd at 5:00 p.m.Our Shabbat Dinner is being subsidized by anonymous generous donations.We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!

Services will start at 6pm with the Hillel Conservative Minyan and dinner will be at 7pm. Teens can sign up to lead different portions. Our own Shayna Kamm will be delivering a D’var Torah.
Teens will have the opportunity to talk with the university students over dessert.
