Am Yisrael SJS Meeting remotely on Wed Feb 12, 2025

Dear Am Yisrael Community,

I hope this message finds you warm and well.  The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our region, predicting snowfall and potentially hazardous road conditions tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon and evening.

For the safety of our students, madrichim, families, teachers, and staff, Am Yisrael SJS will meet remotely tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th, from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. We will send out links for your individual classes and the All-SJS Assembly (5:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) tomorrow morning.

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate these weather conditions. The safety of our community is always our top priority.

Sincerely,

Mr. Charlie Sherman

Head of School

Dear SJS Families,

We’re encouraging a higher participation rate in the mitzvah of Mishloach Manot this Purim!  Every person makes a huge difference!

Mishloach Manot is a beautiful tradition of sharing gifts of food with friends and family on Purim. It’s a wonderful way to spread joy and strengthen our community bonds.

Be on the lookout for messages from the congregation, class parents, and/or members of your Havurah with more information on how to participate.

Let’s make this Purim a truly special one!
